ADMISSION PROCEEDURE

 
Mention the admission being followed

Admission to cover 50% of the intake capacity through the entrance examination conducted by state government and balance 50% through the entrance examination conducted by Kerala state self-financing management association.

Calendar of admission

As fixed by the commissioner for entrance examination & Kannur university

Criteria & weight age for admission

General rank in the admission test, marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be criteria for admission -50% of marks in qualifying examination is considered as the cut-off level of percentage to all the candidates excluding the candidates belong to backward classes and scheduled cast.

For backward class candidate it is 45% and for scheduled cast students only the minimum % of marks required for passing the exam will be enough.

The Students are provided with facility for following games in Campus: Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Table Tennis.
Procured sports material, Body fitment equipments. Students are given opportunity to participate inter-collegiate tournaments. A full time senior faculty has been appointed as in-charge of sports activities of students. Conducted Kannur University Chess Championship 2009-10 from 24th to 27th August at this college.
