CAMPUS

Situated at Chalakode, Payyannur in Kannur District, the college is spread over 45 acres of scenic land, abundantly interspersed with greenery. The location is free from pollution and the hustle and bustle of the town. Serene and secluded the campus boasts an ambience that’s eminently conducive to learning. Just 6 Kms away from Payyannur Railway Station and 5 Kms from NH 17, the campus offers easy accessibility. The campus houses state-of-the-art facilities and all the necessary infrastructure for quality education and living. The main block which is an architectural marvel houses the Principal’s Office, Administrative Office, class rooms, Library, Computer Lab, Electronics Lab, Conference Hall, Seminar Hall, Tutorials, and Students amenity center. The Campus is an ideal combination of environment and infrastructure that promises students a memorable and rewarding college experience.

LIBRARY

The College has a well-stocked library that’s equipped to provide a vast knowledge resource for students. Well planned and elegantly designed the library has a wide selection of the latest books on Engineering Science as well as other general subjects.
The library is computerised with about 2500 title and has a book stock of 10,000 volumes besides video cassettes and CDs. Further, around 20 journals including foreign journals are in the periodicals section.. Reprographical facilities are also made available to the students at the library. Immediate future plans include the introduction of a digital system in the library.

COMPUTER LAB

The Computer Department is designed to offer students access and exposure to the latest equipment in the field. It is designed and installed scientifically to cater to the requirements of Engineering students of all branches.

The Rich industrial background of our computer department personnel gives students the opportunity to learn modern and relevant application tools. The Computer Laboratories are equipped with more than 100 pentium IV IBM Computers with color monitor, multimedia facilities, scanner, and printers of all types.

The Computers are networked with structured cabling. In addition to one 62.5 KVA generator for captive generation of power supply, a UPS has been installed for backup power supply up to 2 hours. The center allows access to 200 students at any given time.

The lab also offers 24-hours internet facility supported by a leased line.

WORKSHOPS & LABS

The Workshop is equipped with all Instruments & Machines in accordance with course requirements. The Mechanical and Electrical workshops are capable of accommodating 60 students at a time for practical sessions.

Classrooms and Tutorial rooms

The class rooms are spacious, well-lit, well-furnished and equipped with modern teaching aids like Over Head Projectors and LCDs.

Hostel

The girls’ hostel is within the campus itself and can accommodate 200 inmates. The boys’ hostel is out side the campus with regular transport facility. Both hostels are designed to offer comfortable accommodation, and offer all the comforts and amenities for an ideal student life.

Transport

The College has its own transport infrastructure to provide convenient conveyance for the day-scholars and staff from nearby areas. Pick-up and drop facilities are made available keeping in mind the convenience of all those who avail of the institution’s transport facilites.
